COVID 19 pandemic has hit India in the peak season of competitive exams. This has led to the calendar being completely disrupted for the season ahead. There are school exams, application deadlines to apply for colleges and entrance exams, etc. Due to the unprecedented situation and the lockdowns being enforced nation-wide, all the exams are postponed. Some of them have announced new likely dates while others are yet to do so after duly considering how long and the nature of this lockdown to continue.
From undergraduate, post-graduate, diploma, doctorate to vocational training aspirants, all are equally impacted due to the pandemic. In the present scenario, conducting these exams is not possible due to the fear of community-spread of the virus. These are painful and yet mandatorily necessary precautions that the Government at the Centre as well as across various States and Union Territories are having to take so as to curb the adverse effects with the potential to worsen the situation.
This article is an attempt to put to gether the updated date-timelines in view of this ongoing pandemic as announced by certain testing agencies and authorized institutions. Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2020
It is a computer-based exam for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses from top government engineering institutes in India. The exams are conducted by the National Testing Agency and have two phases. Top 2,50,000 students from JEE MAINS rank list qualify for JEE Advanced, which is the second phase.

JEE for M.Sc Hospitality Administration program offered at the above mentioned institutions is WAIVED for 2 categories of candidates seeking admission: (1) Direct admission is also provided to the candidates who passed the B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU; OR Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management from a recognized University and the Institute is approved by AICTE by securing 55% or more aggregate marks and having two-years or more working experience in 3-star and above rated hotel industry (Industrial training which is part of Degree not to be counted as working experience) and (2) Industry sponsored candidates can also get direct admission into M.Sc. HA program without appearing in the JEE.
