Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test or MHT- CET is a state level examination conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra. This examination is conducted annually for admission in 4-year undergraduate courses such as B.E./B.Tech, B Pharmacy, B. Planning courses and agricultural courses; and 6-year undergraduate course Pharm D.

Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates passed / appearing at the qualifying examination i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for appearing for MHT-CET 2020. There is no age limit for admission and appearing to MHT-CET 2020.

Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National – These types of Candidature Candidates are exempted from appearing for MHT-CET 2020.
Examination Pattern and Syllabus

The examination will be conducted in two groups*:-

PCM- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
-
PCB- Physics, Chemistry, Biology
-
The pattern is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), where one right answer has to be chosen over four options.

No negative Marking

The syllabus will cover almost 20% from 11th class and 80% from 12th class curriculum. The subjects covered in MHT CET 2020 exam include Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as stated by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) Maharashtra.

Complete 12th class syllabus has to be prepared and some topics from 11th class curriculum will be included in the examination.
Physics: Measurements, Scalars and Vectors, Force, Friction in solids and liquids, Refraction of Light, Ray optics, Magnetic effect of electric current, Magnetism. |

Chemistry: Some basic concepts of chemistry, States of matter: Gases and liquids, Redox reaction, Surface chemistry, Nature of chemical bond, Hydrogen, s-Block elements(Alkali and alkaline earth metals), Basic principles and techniques in organic chemistry, Alkanes. |

Mathematics: Trigonometric functions, Trigonometric functions of Compound Angles, Factorization Formulae, Straight Line, Circle and Conics, Sets, Relations and Functions, Probability, Sequences and series. |

Results

The Competent Authority declares the result on the official website- mhtcet2020.mahaonline.gov.in/ as per the schedule.

Provisional Answer key of each version of question paper & Candidate’s response will be made available on the official website. The Candidate’s response will be available to each candidate after entering Password and Registration ID.

The Competent Authority invites application for admission and after verification of documents and eligibility, publishes the Merit Lists as per the Rules. The downloadable mark sheet will be made available on the official website as per schedule.

Percentile score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained.

Candidate applying for MHT-CET 2020 is deemed to have accepted this Method.

Candidate should note that if he/she appearing for both the the groups i.e. PCM and PCB, the Percentile score of Physics or Chemistry will not be interchanged among the groups.
Examination Centre

The MHT-CET 2020 will be conducted by online mode at all the district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra as well as Capital District of the selected states outside Maharashtra like Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujrat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh depending of the availability of candidates.
