Open Online Courses for UG & PG students of January 2021 Semester announced by UGC

#UGC announces 78 Under Graduate & 46 Post Graduate MOOCs Courses (open online courses) to be offered in January 2021 Semester for UG & PG students.

UGC letter dated 23 December 2020 by UGC Secretary, Professor Dr. Rajnish Jain has shared the data on the unprecedented combined access of various elearning platforms by Ministry of Education since the lockdown announced in March 2020 due to the pandemic. 

In its letter, it was stated that, "...the various e-learning platforms of the Ministry of Education have seen an unprecedented combined access of over 1.4 crore since 23rd March 2020. The national online education platform SWAYAM has been accessed nearly 2.5 lakh times, which was about a five time increase over the figure of 50,000 strikes in the last week of March".

The tentative examination dates for these courses are 8th - 9th of May, 2021 and these examinations will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
